Our Regulatory Position

CoreTrader is an analysis tool, not a broker. This page states exactly what we do and what we deliberately cannot do — every point is verifiable.

What we cannot do — by design

  • We do not execute trades. No code path in this platform sends a buy or sell order to any broker or exchange.
  • We never hold your funds. There is no deposit, withdrawal or custody. Your money stays with your broker or exchange.
  • We do not manage portfolios on your behalf, and make no decisions for you.
  • We do not hold your broker credentials. The MT4/MT5 bridge pushes trades to us using a sync key we issue — no username or password reaches us.
  • Web3 wallets connect read-only: we store the public address and read the balance over a public RPC node. No private key ever passes through here.

What we do

We take in your trade history and analyse it to show you your own performance and behaviour patterns — overtrading, revenge trading, risk sizing, how consistently you follow your own plan. We also show public market data and quantitative analysis. Output is descriptive and probabilistic; every decision remains yours.

We are not a licensed financial adviser and do not give personalised investment recommendations. Signals and analysis here are probabilistic by nature and can be wrong — we publish our accuracy openly, wins and losses together. Trading carries risk, including the loss of your capital.

Your data

Encryption
Sensitive values are encrypted before storage using AES-256-GCM.
Sync keys
Your sync key is yours alone and can be revoked at any time from Settings.
What we store
Your trade history, notes and account settings — to analyse and show back to you.

Operator & product status

CoreTrader is in beta and is currently run as an independent project rather than through a registered company. We state that plainly because knowing who you are dealing with is your right before you pay or connect your data. Because we neither execute trades nor hold funds, our activity does not involve brokerage or custody of assets.
